Campus Conservation Nationals (CCN) is the largest electricity and water reduction competition for colleges and universities in the world.
Dear CCN community,
After much deliberation, the Campus Conservation Nationals (CCN) team has decided to put CCN on hold for the 2015-2016 academic year, which means the official CCN competition will not take place in spring 2016.
Over the past 5 years, CCN participants have saved over 6 million kWh and 1.4 million gallons of water, which is equivalent to averting over 5 million lbs of CO2 emissions and saving over $500,000. The higher education community’s support of CCN over the last 5 years has been incredible, and it has inspired us to reevaluate and restructure our efforts to make the program even more sustainable for organizers and as effective and impactful as possible for participants.
Things to note:
- This website, including all CCN guides, will continue to be available to everyone.
- CCN team members will be at the AASHE 2015 Conference, and we'd love to speak with you in person and hear your feedback during 1x1 meetings (more details on AASHE to come).
- Lucid customers can use BuildingOS to run a competition at any time (and even run group competitions against each other). If you are not a Lucid customer, feel free to email email@example.com to learn more about this option.
